To monitor receivables and payments, SimplBooks can be integrated with all major banks in Estonia. To send and receive e-invoices, there are integrations of various e-invoice operators. Bank integration
SimplBooks uses Aiia bank integration, which operate under the PSD2 standard. These bank integrations simplify accounting. On the program’s dashboard, you can see your bank account balance and transactions are automatically imported into SimplBooks once per day. Payments are matched to invoices automatically, so you don’t need to manually enter bookkeeping entries into the system. You can also pay invoices directly from SimplBooks.
Online store integration
Use the integrations of the most popular online stores – it takes just a few clicks to upload the sales orders of your online store to SimplBooks and convert them into invoices. SimplBooks supports WooCommerce, Shopify and PrestaShop. When importing sales orders, they are stored as sales invoices, which means that SimplBooks will make entries and generate PDF files for them.
Expense document apps
You can import receipts and various expense documents into SimplBooks from your preferred receipt app. We currently offer integrations with eTasku and CostPocket. Receipts imported into the program can be conveniently saved to your accounting with a few mouse clicks. Connecting receipt apps to SimplBooks is free of charge. E-invoice operator
You can easily receive and send e-invoices directly with SimplBooks. Our e-invoicing operator is Apix, where you can create an account directly from the program or connect an existing account with a few clicks. E-invoicing is billed based on usage, and there are no fixed monthly fees or other additional costs.
Tax Board integration
Submitting your VAT return has never been easier. Once the free connection between SimplBooks and the Tax Board is activated, follow these steps:
First, make sure all sales, purchases and other accounting entries for the previous period have been entered into the system. Also ensure that the correct VAT rates have been used. Then open the VAT report in SimplBooks. After reviewing it, you can submit your VAT return to the Tax Board with just a couple of clicks. You can also submit the VAT summary report (recapitulative statement) directly from SimplBooks if you have intra-community sales within the EU and issue sales invoices using SimplBooks.
API functionality
If the existing integrations are not enough for you, the API functionality allows you to create or order an integration to any of your company’s information systems that is fully customised to your company’s needs. Be it synchronisation of business partner data, automatic generation of sales invoices or monitoring inventory.
